Send something we should see
If you have the footage, we have the archive.
Video, photographs, documents, or a lead we can follow. You do not need to be a journalist, and you do not need to have the whole story — the pieces that establish a fact are enough.
- Where and when. The state, the local government area if you know it, and roughly when it happened.
- What it shows. A sentence is fine. What is visible, and who it affects.
- Anything on paper. Contracts, payment records, letters, certificates, screenshots of a portal.
- The original file where possible. Compression and forwarding strip the metadata that helps us date and place footage.
Every submission is read. If it can be verified, we research it, contact the people named, and publish when it clears the gates. That can take weeks, and most leads do not become records.
You can submit anonymously. If you ask us not to publish your name, we will not. Tell us if sending the material puts you at risk.
