Filming himself against a cracked mud-plastered wall, a retired police officer in a white kaftan speaks at length about the gratuity and pension he received after his years in the force, his voice rising as he describes what retirement has meant for him.
The setting says as much as the words. A man who spent his career enforcing the law now lives in a house with bare mud walls, recording his complaint on a phone because no official channel has answered it.
What broke, and what would fix it

Three retired officers in this archive, filmed separately, tell the same story (see AWO-039 and AWO-052). When individual complaints line up this closely, the problem is the system, not individual bad luck. The protests in AWO-046 are those complaints added together.
How much was this officer's gratuity, how long did it take to arrive, and what does his monthly pension cover?
